Galway Iyengar Yoga Classes, with Aileen Slein, in several locations across both Galway City and Galway County. The Iyengar Yoga Classes will run on eight-week courses in The Corrib Dance Studio at Briar Hill Business Park, The Maldron Hotel in Oranmore and The Burren Yoga Centre in Kinvara.

1. Ustrasana stretches the entire front of the body, the ankles, thighs, groins, abdomen, chest, and throat. It targets and stretches the deep hip flexors (psoas) and strengthens back muscles.
2. It greatly improves posture and stimulates the organs of the abdomen and neck.
3. In the beginning, a chair behind you is a good way to learn to lift and lengthen the front of the body without trying to move back. Also in the beginning keep the head level and don’t bring it back.
